Character
Profiles (11/02/08)

| It's been
some time since this section was updated, but now
that the film has finished and has been shown in
some places, I thought it would be a good idea to
post a "character profile" for those who haven't
seen the film, or for those who have seen it
but want more official information about the
characters of Stranger in Peril.
In any case, here is the
official character profile for the movie's
characters. |

| The Kid |
 |
| He is the
protagonist, a normal kid who suddenly
becomes involved with a girl - he saves
her from an assailant, and suddenly
realizes that she might be in grave
danger, and that - apparently - he is
the only one who can save her. |

| Julio |
 |
|
Julio is the
kid's best friend. The moment his friend
becomes involved with the girl and
starts getting threats from an anonymous
caller, he decides to help him. He isn't
very brave, but nevertheless tries to
help. |
|
| Ale
(short for Alejandra) |
 |
| Julio is
in love with Ale, but he doesn't really
know that she might actually know this.
She is a brave, confident and smart
girl, and immediately decides to help
their friends with their predicament.

| The
Girl |
 |
| The victim
of the assault, the girl might at first
sight seem like a pretty innocent young
lady, but maybe - just maybe -
she is involved in something more
dangerous than what the kid initially
thought. |
|
| The
Traitor |
 |
| This is a
most mysterious character - she seems to
want to help the Kid and Julio, but why?
How does she know so much about the
girl's captors? What is her relationship
with them? She seems to be a victim,
even more so than the girl. |
|
| The
Nerd |
 |
| Little is
known about the nerd, except that he
might be involved with those behind the
threatening phone calls and the assault
against the girl. This is a cold, creepy
fellow - the kind of guy you wouldn't
want to encounter in a dark alley. |
|
| Sandra |
 |
| Sandra is
a friend of Ale's, and doesn't have a
clue about what is happening to her the
Kid, Julio and her friend. |
|
| The
Assailant |
 |
| A menacing,
cold guy, the assailant seems to be the
perfect henchman - big and obedient. |

Well, I've been so
busy with writing the actual screenplay that I hadn't been able
to post many updates. Anyway, I'm back, and with lots of
information for you. Let's first start with some of the
characters, and the role they play in the movie:
| Kid - The
film's protagonist. He's noble but flawed, and
becomes involved with a girl that asks for his help. |
| Julio - The
Kid's best friend. He's not the bravest guy ever,
but nevertheless tries to help his friend whenever
he can. He fancies Ale, but doesn't dare telling her
about his feelings. |
| Ale - Friend of
both the Kid and Julio. She's intelligent and
pragmatic, and becomes involved in the whole mess
after the "bad guys" make a threat to Julio against
Ale's life. |
| Girl - The
nameless girl the Kid saves at the beginning of the
movie. She asks for his help, giving him a phone
number and a card that says that he "knows something
'they' don't", as well as the name "Damian." |

Assailant - The big guy the Kid saves the girl
from. |
Okay, so these
aren't all of the characters. Given the fact that it's a
short, we don't have that many characters, but there are
a couple more I'll be revealing in the next few updates.
